Jordan Kimmel

Quote from ElCubano:

Not future but most recent data you can get is your P&L.........:D

I would like to see Kimmel's trading P&L..

The reason I am being hard on Kimmell is because.. anyone that make these long term predictions should be suspect...

If I ask a professional profitable trader what he thinks will happen 12 months.. they always say.. I dont know and it doesnt matter..

Check it out...Im not promoting him BTW, I just found his sentiments interesting....I don't knowif his returns are based on PAPER or ACTUAL

that hidden buying...

is the so-called plunge protection team.

don't necessarily believe it or not believe it, just putting it out there...

...not to stary to far off the subject, Im hust curious about the psychology aspect of what he said....that when things are at their bleakest, is that the time to jump back in? Im thinking it's time to jump head long in but I thought that a little over a year ago. Does anyone else find themselves completely involved with the next news story? CNBC and the others now run a continuous ticket on the bottom with news....98% is bad....war, murder, scandal, scott peterson......does anyone else feel the drag?

Quote from TM_Direct:

I went to a convention this weekend and had an opportunity to listen to Jordan Kimmel of the Magnet Fund speak...I also was able to sit down and share some drinks and insight with him...here's the basic outline of his market thoughts:

Bush vs Gore
Uncertainty
China Spy plane
9-11
War in Afghanistan
Enron
Martha Stewart
Wcom
Iraq
space shuttle explosion
Quagmire
SARS
WAR

He had a lot more on the list but his point was, that it's been nothing but bad news and if you read the papers or listen to the news it's the end of the market....he also commented how in 1999 and 2000 it was ' nothing but good news and the market can only go up"....he believes all the buyers are waiting on the sideline for a definitive signal, but when the signal comes it will be too late....he predicted a bug turn around later this year and pointed out that the market is never as good as you think, or in this case, never as bad as you think.

I'm just wondering what you guys think?

i think, if you drink with Jimmy Kimmel you can learn much more:D :D :D
