I doubt it. The people complaining probably don’t know anything about crypto. I’ve known people who live in the middle of nowhere and some of the things they appreciate the most are the view, noiseless nights, and no city smells. I’ve seen wind farms and large feedlots protested and sometimes blocked. I was once told about a tiny town (<500 people) that demanded that a new factory in the area buy all of their houses because the noise it produced made it difficult to sleep. The factory did something with wood and had several large drying kilns with large noisy fans that ran 24/7. The factory complied and brought many of the homes, all of the ones within a couple blocks of the kilns. They probably needed the extra space for future expansion anyway. I don’t know details about the TX mining situation, if it’s really in the middle of nowhere in farm/ranch country they’re likely dealing with people who have established their whole life on their farm and don’t want to move. They probably didn’t know to speak up until the mine was operational and making noise.
Do you have to cool the liquid?
I'm not sure, I think the liquid does get warm, you probably do need to somehow cool the liquid and recirculate it.
