Is Trade Ideas being bought by Etrade?

I got an IM from a buddy in New York who said he was hearing that TI and Etrade are in talks.....anyone know anything. I sent email to TI but no response yet. For my sake I hope this is not true nothing good ever happens when big companies buy innovators. If anyone knows anything please give heads up thanks.

My buddy is a prop trader in NY. I asked for details he said that is all he knows.....I have no idea that is why I brought it up.
 
Why is this so hard to imagine. Etrade has lots of $$$. TI encourages trading, it would be a very good purchase for them at the right price.
