Jigsaw is one of the best order flow software packages out there. Usually you have to pay for data separately but the way I'm going to try and do it, the data will be free. I'll keep you posted on the results.

Data fees are not cheap.
You can easily pay US$1k to $3k/month for the trading platform, charting software, and data fees.


If a broker gives you a few dollars worth of data free, that could be fine.
If a broker gives you a few hundred or thousand dollars worth of data free,
you'd better run away.


If given free things, I'd run away!
I don't want to waste my time looking at the small print using a microscope.
Similarly, if you are given free sex or free lick on the boobs, you'd better run away.

Hi,
Curious if you're running under and entity (company, trust, LLC etc) or just an individual?
IBKR charges me a fortune for data because they think using an entity for tax reasons makes me a pro :(
So I'm looking to change brokers, this ironbeam deal sounds like a great thing but I don't know if they'll accept an entity, I might contact them but curious your opinion how it's going so far.

I'm running under individual.
I also have an IBKR account which I intend maintaining and only depositing the minimum amount in the Ironbeam account.
 
ok thanks, I contacted Ironbeam and seems decent.
Just need to find out their interest rate if can still earn interest on cash balances, and if can create/quote on custom price spreads.
