Drones are the next weapon of choice. That said, you got to be ahead of the 8 ball because in war, you cannot fall behind technological advances. Russians have figured out how to jam a lot of drones making them useless. The ones that are able to avoid electronic jamming are shot down by Russian S400s or Pantsir defense system missiles. US proxy war has strengthened Russia because all 30 NATO members plus Ukraine has made this an existential threat to Russia. The fake news media never talks about Russia upgrading all its weapons systems from tanks, rockets, missiles, helicopters, fighter jets, radar systems. Russia is ready to fight NATO if NATO enters Ukraine to try and save it. Expect a blood bath with NATO suffering heavy casualties.

Obviously you have not been fully following the inability of Russia to upgrade its weapons to modern standards due to lack of technology (thanks to sanctions). Ukraine has quickly worked around electronic jamming, etc. by upgrading drone technology. Russian weapon systems such as S400 have been found to be less than useful against smaller drones (and not very capable against modern aircraft either) -- which is why Russia has reverted to using these missiles for bombarding Ukrainian cities rather than using them as anti-aircraft munitions.
Currently Russia has sunk to dragging T-62s and T-55s out of storage and trying to get them operational. Western technology is easily blowing away these ancient armored vehicles.
For the West -- Ukraine is serving as a proving ground for weapons leading to rapid improvements to take out Russian equipment. For NATO, Ukraine is a complete victory -- a mere investment of 4% of the U.S. military budget has eliminated over 50% of the Russian military. I say we provide another 4% and finish the job.
