Interactive Brokers Unveils IBKR Desktop

Just when I was getting even better at customizing the Trader Workstation. I always liked to show off the classic-looking 1990s style of retro software.

Unfortunately, the server is down due to upgrades so I can't even log in to journal my trades for the week. Downloaded the IBKR Desktop app now, and it looks like TastyTrade.

I'm stuck now on the signup page where it's asking me about what pronouns to use. I also have to select choices for my preferred sex type (there are 24 choices?), orientation, and fetish. There is this option here called MaP. What the hell is a MaP. Should I checkmark it?

I think I'm getting too old for this woke shit.

Thanks for the tip.

Interestingly, I only got a warning when I chose the "white hetero cis-male" thing. I got hit with a big exclamation mark and multiple warnings. I panicked, back-tracked then went along with the non-binary option instead. It seemed no more disgruntled hassles with that choice, and I finally got in.

Still not sure what to make of it, trying to play around, this may take a while to get used to options.

Found the charts but they are slow to change symbols compared with TWS. Also have not found how to get different pages of charts. I will stick to TWS.

i can't even load charts as it tries to load more than 100 symbols. anyway, options chains, trade entry, etc are ok.
