Improved Financing with Single Stock Futures

QCOM is the symbol for Qualcomm Stock. That entry is for the SSF on the Qualcomm Stock itself. No relation to the QQQQ ETF or index.

QQQQ1C on that page is the 1000 multiplier SSF on the ETF.
QQQM1C is the 100 multiplier SSF on the same ETF.

OneChicago traded 238,316 SSFs today. Of the total 202,221 traded on the Central Limit Order Book....our match engine. This Book volume is the highest level we have experienced.

There have been posts that have question whether there is any liquidity on OneChicago. I have responded that our marketmakers have been making liquid markets but if nobody trades there is no volume which gives the perception of illiquidity.

Today's volume should give some indication as to the level of liquidity that does in fact exist in SSFs at OneChicago.

Quote from OneChicago:

I don't know about TradersStudio. Do you know what clearing firm they use. That would narrow the possibility.

CBOEDirect is the electronic matching engine used by the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE).

OneChicago uses the same matching engine.

OneChicago, thanks for the reply. What is a clearing firm? Please comment.

Quote from Murray Ruggiero:

Yes, CSI has the single stock futures data. You can develop a system and trade a basket of them using TradersStudio portfiolo capablities.

Murray, thanks for the reply.

OneChicago Single Stock Futures are all cleared at the Options Clearing Corporation or the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Clearing house. These entities stand in between the buyer and the seller acting as counterparty to both subsequent to the trade.

Their role is to ensure performance by both parties which they achieve by holding their clearing members responsible to make sure their customers live up to their obligations and responsibilities. In order to trade on OneChicago a clearing member of either the OCC or the CME must be willing to take on these responsibilities on your behalf.

Examples of clearing members are:
Goldman Sachs; Morgan Stanley; JP Morgan; Citigroup; Interactive Brokers; MF Global etc.

Best.
