I get a lot of chopp in moving averages, in a chop=slop[aka barbed wire range]market.......

even more than an alligator oscilator.amazing downtrend if price ever goes below clouds\ or gets near alligator back[2008].
I may use a green 200dma more or purple or red 200dma NOT a prediction or a slave to Fed Reserve notes, no disrespect to Fed intended.
