I have the twsdde.xls spreadsheet. In my live account, which is NOT well funded (approx USD900) , i can receive data, for say June16 ES Futures. Bid/Ask BidSize Ask Size LAst Close Volume etc and i can get it in the TWSDDE spreadsheet too. I have subscribed and am paying for GLOBEX data. All good.
When i login to my paper Trading account and Request the same data via the TWSDDE spreadsheet, it just comes out as all zeroes. When i run the error report I get Error 354 Requested Market data is not subscribed.ES JUN'16/TOP/ALL.
I can however buy at MKT (blind) in the paper trading account and a trade executes in the TWSDDE spreadsheet. I havent tried to execute in my Live account as my funds are below USD2000.
I would really like to get TWSDDE working in conjunction with in my papaer trading account before i refuel my live account, What am i missing or doing wrong.
