IB Island Orders for QQQ Hangs Up

Has anyone experienced slow execution of orders on the QQQ via Island?

I have had a couple occurrences where my market orders for the QQQ routed to ISLD appeared to hang up and do nothing.

I ended up cancelling the orders and then entering new orders to execute the order. Once I even routed the order to BEST instead of Island to get the order off because the new order to Island also did nothign.

This has happened twice now over the past two days.

Anyone else experience this?

No, I trade QQQ's exclusively on ISLD and have never had any such problems. IB did have problems with ISLD quotes a few days ago, so maybe you entered orders that were outside the market?
 
Nic: IB automatically converts such market orders on ISLD to limit orders with an adequate offset to ensure execution.
