I just started using IB's excel API. It's great for getting quotes, but a little frustrating when it comes to automated trading. While setting up a trade MANUALLY is pretty intuitive, I am having a lot of trouble doing it AUTOMATICALLY (through a cell, no button pushing).
What i want to do is have a conditional trigger in an excel cell automate a trade, instead of hitting a button each time I want to trade. I need speed, and button pushing is not good enough. Does anyone have any experience with IB's excel api in this capacity?
