I told you guys...closing positions for a loss is for fools.

Op is the worst of all worlds..

He's clearly a long term investor, who averages in when wrong.Nothing wrong with that, assuming proper money management is applied..

Where he fails miserably aside from his P and L is he is clueless about trading and unwilling to listen and learn..

He's basically Buffet with a sub 90 trading IQ ,unable to spell DCF,and a net Liq tied up in some 2008 Lambo

OP is a Trading Deity / God.

I don't know about that, but I do know that this board is a wasteland of traders who could not make TA work for them, so have turned to options IV, and algo/quant trading instead. :)

Well the difference is you have a Lambo for your avatar, and I am looking at my (2008) Lambo out my window. :)

I'm never closing another Position again. That should ensure I never have a Loss, right?
Right but you probably have a portfolio with a bunch of positions underwater that are tieing up your capital and preventing you from taking advantage of other opportunities.
It's a great feeling to get up in the morning and see that the market is up 1% and you portfolio is down but you haven't had any losses.

one of the most accomplished vol guys on this site got blocked by a guy who thinks leg prices on a spread affect pnl.

this thread is a joke. Its value is entertainment like watching Talk Soup.

a bunch of losers who wouldn’t know a good options trade if it was presented to them with a two page summary of how it worked.

lol asiaprop?

Simply don't put a STOP.
Then your STOP will never be hit.

Problem fixed.
