I'm thinking Mr. Burns pays to get Mr. Smithers on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Something happens to Smithers...Can't do it. Homer (having bought a BA and MA from some online university) gets the job. He meets with President Trump. He then goes before congress for conformation. Of course he pronounces "nuclear" like former president Bush. He gets confirmed...Goes all around the world; North Korea, Russia, Japan, 3 Mile Island, fission testing...You get the idea. Can we make a 1/2 hours episode of this one? Any other story lines for the Simpsons??
