I know TradeStation 2000x use GlobalSever as the storage so we have to write data to the GlobalSever real-time for TS 2000x to pick it up.
But how does it work with TradeStation 9.x ? I saw online that OwnData (and many other service providers) can do it. But as a programmer i am just curious about the underlying mechanism. (and does TradeStation 9.x provide such functionality to listen to 3rd party data feed on local networks itself ? the help doc of TS 9.x is ambiguous ..)
