I've 35000$ in my IB account, so my buying power is 70000$.
I'd like to have ONLY 50000$ Buying Power.
Is there a way to do that without making a wire transfer (perhaps by decreasing the leverage, or by buying/selling something without risk)???
I ask that because I'd like to have at any open day a Buying Power of 50000$ ( 25000$ cash x 2 times margin).
If I send severals Limit orders for, say, 100 000$ and if all the Limit prices are reached, I don't want to exceed 50000$...
