How to insert stock ticker symbols into a post?

Is it possible to insert a linked stock ticker into a post?

Say I wanted to insert the symbol for Apple (AAPL) into a post. Is there an easy way to link the ticker to information therof? Perhaps with a delayed quote?

They do this on the news sites. See the quote for $VZ from the WSJ story below.

Delayed or real-time ?

Actually, I'm surprised one of the sponsor brokers here at Elitetrader.com has not setup some type of an agreement with Baron about suppling free quotes, news and fundamental info that's auto-link whenever someone types a ticker symbol in their message posts.

Seems like a heavy-duty coding issue that Baron may not want to touch.
