how much will futures react to surprise cut premkt?

A whole freaking bunch! The last time we had a major reversal day like this the Fed cut the discount rate by 50 bp and the ES futures went from 1419 to 1470 in about 2 minutes. Don't dare go short the fut's in the premarket in this environment.

funny that the currency and bond traders don't have the inside information that all of you seem to...and i thought they would be the first to know. better short the USD and go long treasuries for when they find out! common guys...get real.
