Since this is under the "Career Trader" forum I assume you mean as a career. I recommend $50,000 plus 18-24 months worth of living expenses (or a significant other that handles living expenses).
I'm surprised by the number of people starting with less than $10k. Are there any traders here that actually built that up to over $100,000 (without adding more capital)??
