How much do you need to retire?

There seem to be all sorts of people on these boards with different goals/desires/dreams? Trading is all about money.
Something I think about every now and then is how much much do I need to retire. I mean kick back, not work (or maybe do something I really enjoy w/o the pressure of trading). Any one care to comment?

If you are like me, then retirement is not an option. It is not the money I crave when trading, it is the competition and winning. When I find something that is as exciting and can replace that in my life then I will get away from trading. On the other hand show me $15 million and I am outa here.
