I'm going to stick my neck out and offer you a couple of items of advice that not everyone here will agree with, Padu (and probably they'll say so, but I'm used to that, anyway ;) ) ...

1. Regardless of margin requirements and account-opening requirements, don't open a futures account and try to trade them with less than $25,000 available in trading capital. (Yes, I know some people say $15,000 or even $10,000 - I just don't agree with them: trading under financial pressure with "scared money" is never a good idea, and would most likely be counterproductive.)

2. Don't try to trade forex futures until you've been steadily profitable with spot forex over a minimum of 500 consecutive trades and over a minimum of 6 consecutive months.

IOW....

1. Have enough experience so that you know what you're doing... including stop discipline

2. Don't trade undercapitalized (scared money)

Before foraging into the world of highly leveraged futures. How is that anything but common sense?

(I don't trade forex, but isn't that market leveraged itself? And then one wants to trade a leveraged futures contract on a leveraged instrument? If that's right, "things" had better go perfectly "right off the bat".)
