How do I do a buy-write on e-mini?

I looked it up on the help page and it seems on only offer the tool on stocks or as a strategy has a stock underlying. Nada for futures. Assistance? By the way, is it pointless to do, to get a fill on, a buy-write with a deep ITM call/put and a futures contract?

It works the same as stock and index, just more expensive.

type the root symbol, select futures options, then find the available dates

Yes you can, just like any combos.
