That's generally, somewhat true...but it's way more dangerous to assume, and get ahead of yourself and the market thinking you have a crystal ball that works.
I learned that early on in trading, to never assume. Loosely speaking, I would say be patient and calm...and The trend is your friend.
But ultimately, you have to take that plunge and gamble and bet.
does that mean you're buying calls or selling puts? lol
