ok maybe this isn't as interesting to some other people but have you guys been noticing the thaw going on in North Korea?

They start to introduce currency and wages (limited areas), then the link with SK, then the gesture to Japan (apology) clearly aimed at the US then this:

Wow! I can't believe it but the last bastion of coo-coo'ness is joining the rest of the civilized world (albeit slowly).

Interesting? I am wondering why we are not paying a little more attention to the Red China/Russia (remnants) association growing. I suspect in about five years we will have a real contestant as superpowers go. It was not too long ago when we had a problem with the climate towards Taiwan and we debated sailing the seventh fleet over that SOMEONE over there offered to nuke L. A. if we got too involved.
