HFT-Strategy for Forex?

I know, but FX is a dealer market where a lot of ECN's have built in edges for the owners.
HFT doesn't make a lot of sense if you're trading in a dark pool where the owner has last look for himself.

The strategy doesn't matter. You can trade 0+ based on book dynamics or you can snipe stale orders. Edge is in the infrastructure and the winner takes it all. Just because someone is colocated, doesn't make his strategy profitable

One could maybe profit from market-making strategies with different brokers. That's also what I'm searching

Don’t know how that would work on forex. Know quite a few years back a guy got sued by forex shop because they shut him down, then he used his wife’s name to continue.

Basically their software sucked and lagged and he was arbitrating against their slow system and they just shut it down. They make money off spread and if your just taking money from them everyday they don’t want your business.

Then the rest your dealing with banks or futures. That’s big competition.

Your best bet would be make your own bucket shop.

FXCM had a 1second lag and guaranteed prices, big news that create huge spikes, I could see the spike, hit the Buy/Sell and get out pretty near the top, they removed the lag sadly, started requoting me aswell made $1000+ before they stopped me :)
