Help with multi monitor setup

Irish... that 50 inch is too big, especially with just one chart ;)

You should be able to see everything clearly with a 50 inch screen.

But, how difficult would it be for manufacturers to create a screen function that would change a monitor to match your vision?

Let's say your vision is fine for seeing things far away but you need help with things close up.

How tough would it be to have a monitor that would allow you to push a button that would make corrections for vision that was 20/40, 20/60, 20/100?

This way you would not need to wear glasses while reading a computer screen and taking them off to see the tv across the room.

There should be a button that you push to make it 20/40 the same way you have a home button or an end button. And if someone else wants to use the computer , just 'unlock' the button.

How tough would that be to do?

God, that's an absurd size monitor to use.
Are you trading/computing across your living room?...or are you just sitting on a standard desk o_O:wtf:

I only compute/trade on a 15" laptop.
(...it's like you're over compensating for something...lol)

Simple really - I have 2 pairs of glasses - one for up close and one for 2 to 5 feet away.

Works perfect for me, as being 2-5 feet away keeps you out of the radiation zone - I have a little hand held meter to check the levels.

Like everything - you can't knock it till you try it - all I will say is that the cost of the monitor will pay for itself in no time:D

In case some missed it - it is more a psychological thing, and, it works!

Like some people already suggest simply give yourself some budget to make it happen on something like mini itx power PC with like few video inputs to make it happen. How does that sound ? I see it's all fine anyway. Even my 11 years old PC can connect 6 monitors if needed.

I really hope he already solved his problem almost 3 years later ..
