1 ] I'm the same way, except i use moving average$ more than offsets.
On a hedge like SPXS or sqqq++ doing SPY + some SPXL;
mainly , work the main trend spy /spxl .
1-5] Bear funds make so little money+ so few bear funds / have to keep that in mind;
SPXU was much more liquid 'till they reverse split it 1 to5; much better volume pre split.
777] As another Elite T noted, cutting a loss works well
888] NOT a perfect hedge , but sometimes sqqq makes better profit than spxu or spxs

Strange ,SEC fee seems to favor splitting up an order or some smaller MCD Big Mac profits.
MCD is an eXpensive way to buy food or coffee, but i do that some!!
I don't think Noah would build the Ark if no one told him rain and flood would be coming soon. It is insider info in the SEC sense.
