Retailers just lost a bunch of orders this weekend to online vendors sitting snug at home, I don't think this storm helped anyone but amazon, ebay etc.

Yes wouldn't natural gas prices rise with the snow storm and wouldn't retail sales fall due to large numbers of people unable to purchase items.
