Arkansas drops 'X' from driver's licenses and IDs: State 'won't endorse nonsense,' Governor Sanders says

Arkansas will no longer permit residents to identify as "X" rather than male or female on state-issued drivers' licenses or identification cards, officials announced Tuesday.

The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration said it would rescind rules that allow license holders to change their gender "without any verifiable information," or to use "X" in lieu of gender. Those rules were put in place in 2010 to allow transgender, nonbinary or intersex residents to change the sex listed on their licenses and IDs.

So, there is this flap where Crooked Joe declared Easter Sunday to be National Trans Awareness Day. In defense, they rattle and prattle on about how trans types are American as apple pie and probably half of our Founders were trans, whatevah.

Meanwhile, in possibly related news, November was also declared National Trans Month.

It's complicated I guess.

I would like to declare April as National Trans Transitioning Survivors Regret Support Month.

If you have a chance or interest in reading all the way to the end to the last paragraph, the article points out the little factoid that-in addition to the transgender issues- the former Chief Administative officer and Chief Legal Counsel was- allegedly- a convicted child abuser and former owner/ceo was ousted for pointing that out. Okay fine. It's all good I guess.
