Hi Elite Trader members! I wanted to introduce my firm to traders who are looking for an agency broker to route their equity orders to the US marketplace for execution.
Lime Trading is an executing agency broker to the US Equity markets for both quantitative traders and screen based traders as we offer colocation at all the major data centers, market data. As an agency broker with memberships to equity exchanges, we don’t operate a dark pool, internalize trades or have proprietary trading. You can think of Lime as a technology company that is also a broker dealer with over 20 years of experience helping our customers have a fast, reliable, high throughput DMA gateway to the US equity and options markets.
Some advantages of using Lime are the ease of use and flexibility of our technology as we offer many different low latency connectivity choices including FIX, API (written in C++, C#, Java & Python). The latency for the FIX or API risk check is in the single digit microseconds. We also offer a lower latency solution in binary format which is in the low single digit microseconds.
Our screen based traders can connect into Lime through the Sterling Pro platform*.
In addition to offering low latency DMA, our customers can also utilize customized Algo and Smart Order routers.
Lastly, in 2022 our customers executed over 21 billion shares and our technology processed over 11 billion messages (75 million messages in one day alone). Even during peaks of volatility in the markets, our technology proved reliable enough to provide full access to the marketplace for our customers.
