Google Files With Securities and Exchange Commission for Proposed Public Offering of 14.2 Million Shares

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) -- Google Inc. on Thursday said it has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell 14.2 million shares of class A common stock, an offering worth more than $4 billion at Wednesday's closing stock price.

Nice. I guess they're a little pissed off that they missed earnings last quarter. They got have got an extra 500 million if they did the secondary offering near its high.
