GOOG caught eavesdropping on users - for the U.S. government

I dunno, i thought Snowden was just some fucking dork if he had any merit he wouldn't have went to work for that shit stain of a government contractor in the first place
There are a few diamonds in the mountain of horse manure you find in most gov't agencies. He's a legitimately smart guy based on what I've read from him. And a bold one. Despite the lip service the gov't pays towards whistleblowers, they don't want stuff like that to get out and will try to punish you.

Well you are supposed to be a whistleblower to the government, not on the government. LOL That's how it works.

Nothing abnormal
We are being eavesdropped by whatever.

The less significant we are, the less we will be eavesdropped.

It doesn't matter who you are. Having letter-agencies eavesdrop on your conversations is a clear violation of the 3rd amendment. You can't be forced to quarter soldiers...nor should they monitor your calls, texts, emails, website comments, etc. as if they were in your house watching you.

Yeah, and who knows how long this has been going on. They talked about the NSA listening in our calls in the 1992 movie Sneakers (great flick despite some of Robert Redford's leftist propaganda). The movie was based at least partially on some true characters per a friend who's a big player in cybersecurity.
I think it was also true in the early 1970s film The Conversation which was based on memoirs from a former NSA agent. I think even Enemy Of The State was based on the writings of a former NSA agent (Gene Hackman plays pretty much the same character in both films).

Its interesting that both Sneakers and The Conversation take place in the SF bay area although The Conversation takes place in SF and Sneakers takes place in the Peninsula specifically Palo Alto (probably the only film that goes over the Dumbarton Bridge).

If you installed any sort of tracking or
listening devices in your home, like
Google Assistant or Alexa, you need
to have your head examined, or get
with the program and find out what
is really going on.
"SIRI.... who should the government watch the most?"
>>>>"The ones who don't put things like myself or Alexa in their homes." :D
