GC Options - Active Months

Howdy Folks

Looking for active months to purchase spreads on gold futures... I found active bid/ask in the January '22, and May '22... Looking for further out in time I see no activity for example January '23. Am I missing something? Any pointers? Looking to go out 18 months or so.

isnt the gold spread just the lease rate? They never move. You can put GTC orders on every combination: buy the bid/sell the offer. There was some fund doing this for a while; worked great until spreads moved
