Full service account with well known professional broker

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted your opinion on this.

As someone new to trading futures(less than a year) I was offered a service when you open an account with this company where they will recommend and execute all your trades for you, for $20 a side, so in and out, excluding commissions. They have other options as well or you can just action everything yourself and just pay the commissions.

Is it something to consider so as to see learn from them? or am I better off doing it myself?

Don't trade for yourself until you know the answer to your own question. As to a third party recommending trades, you have to do your due diligence on the history of their calls.

Ask them for their track record.

I'm not going to jump straight in without asking the right questions first. Thanks for your input.

Ask them for their track record.

I would want to do considerably more than that, myself!

I'd start by asking them for independently corroborated proof of their track record, not their own account of it. And I'd want the independent corroboration to be offered by someone I can question about it, myself, not just something presented on a website or in an email. Otherwise I wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole.
