Is it a qaulity firm to work at??

had a few friends that did really well during the tech boom, but haven't made a dollar since...trading is based on arbitrary techniques....wouldn't suggest it

I applied, had an interview. The guy basically said to get a year of experience and come back.
No grudge or anything, but if I'm doing good, why the hell would I want to go to FNYS to train for a year for a measly 45K a year and then start from the bottom? And if I am not successful, then that means FNYS is picking up losers.
