feeling like the market is gainst you. whats the psychology behind it?

when you buy and stock plummets right the next second you and every other noob that bought it feels same way
when you sell a stock that has been dead for 5 minutes and it suddenly rockets up
when you are stuck in reverse split and it keeps going down after while you hold
and then that one time you sell after RS it actually goes up.
when you hop into a good mover and it just dies and does nothing for next 4 months and you look away for 5 minutes and it makes that one move you ve been waiting for.

what is the psychology behind this.
is it the noob reaction that is predictable
or is it the manipulators that are really good at what they do to trap noobs into these patterns.

is there a good book about traps?

the consistency with which it happens tells me that its not just random natural occurence.

its obviously planned, since thats the whole point of this game.

Honestly, I’ve seen this play out so many times, it feels like it’s more than just bad luck. There’s definitely a level of manipulation going on. If you’re looking to dive deeper, check out some YouTube videos on market traps, trading psychology, and manipulation strategies. There are also forums and podcasts that discuss these patterns and how to spot them. It’s definitely worth exploring to get a better grasp on how the game is played.

Man, totally feel ya! It's like every time you buy, the stock does a nosedive right away, or you sell, and it suddenly rockets. Classic!!

It’s probably a mix of your brain playing tricks on you and the market doing its unpredictable thing. Some traders do get caught in these traps, but a lot of it is just how the market moves.
