No it's art. It's no different if you were to buy a Mona Lisa painting for 5 million dollars.

There is no fixed definition what art is. It is a personal interpretation. What is art for person A can be garbage for person B. So anything can be defined as art, even a dog turd on a piece of toilet paper.
My wife is a painter, she sees art everywhere while I see nothing at all.
For me a beautiful Ferrari or Pagani is art, for my wife not. She likes more classic paintings.

Why not? Because you and millions others believe the Mona Lisa is worth millions? I don't, I wouldn't even have that painting on my wall. I think the colors are ugly. But it worth millions and that's what it is. Just like you may not agree NFTs are worth millions but they are.
