Quote from qdz2:
I don't know about you. For me, every day before the marke opens, I think it is gonna be an exciting big day for me to make a home run. But as the day progresses, I feel boring and boring. Finally, I got upset for the fact that I wasted another day of my life in the market. Why wouldn't I?
I don't think his statement is at all quirky. Boredom is a major problem for traders. I've made several mistakes thinking I was missing out on the action and then put on a trade just to be trading.
The market has been difficult at best lately, and when you spend all day here and come away without a winner, or maybe not putting on a single trade, I think it's reasonable to say that it feels like you've wasted your day. On the other hand , it's better to be bored than to lose money.
