Excel Version

I like 2007, but have to use 2013 with CQG. Does upgrade to a later version bring any benefits? I prefer simpler stuff, but will upgrade if it is really give me anything.

Simple feed and sorting with simple macros.
 
Excel 2007 no longer gets any kind of security updates from Microsoft. That supposedly creates vulnerability to malware.

With that being said, I am still using Excel 2007, on a PC that is running Windows 7 (LOL).

I have a new PC with Win 10 and Office 2019 on it, but I have not yet completed the setup and installation of all the software that I need.

If you keep your antivirus up to date, and don't open Excel attachments from unknown sources (including a file that you might download from a website that might look completely safe), and don't surf free porn sites, you'll probably be okay...

AFAIR 2007 doesn't support RTD. I may be wrong, but 2013 is demonstrably faster with numbers crunching off the feed.
I also keep 2 machines with Windows 7 for various reasons.

It doesn't brings new features, but improves security since it no longer gets security updates. You can still use it as long as you don't work with unknown sources.
