Hi Baron & Co,
what about an API for ET access?
For example for submitting a posting to an already existing thread.
Would be useful especially for Journal authors for auto-posting (ie. via a pgm) their acct status.
An email interface/gateway would do it too, I think.

IMHO, best would be if the whole content of ET would be accessible via an nntp news client! ;-)

One solution is to use notepad or some other text editor to make an "ET template" with your basic post including all the BB code.

• Edit the ET template
• Select, Copy
• Paste into ET

The above takes seconds to post once the template is finished. And your posts will have a consistent look.
