eSIGNAL LINKS ITS DECISION SUPPORT APPLICATION TO
SPEAR, LEEDS & KELLOGG’S REDIPlus TRADING PLATFORM

Hayward, Calif., November 30 - eSignal, a division of Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC) and a leading provider of streaming, real-time financial market data, news, analytics and decision support tools to professional and individual traders, today announced that the eSignal® decision support application now links to Spear, Leeds & Kellogg’s REDIPlus trading platform and execution systems.

REDIPlus is SLK's premier electronic trading platform offering destination-neutral access to all major pools of liquidity for U.S. equities, options, electronic futures and European equities and electronic futures. SLK is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS) and is itself a broker-dealer separate from Goldman, Sachs & Co.

One question - How are data feeds charged? If I want e-signal charting who gets paid what? Naturally SLK is not giving away data...so is e-signal going to just charge some sort of basic platform fee?

Good Questions ...

For eSignal, it is running on the eSignal feed. It has direct connectivity to the RediPlus trading system from within eSignal.

If you use TahoeCharts, there is a version that runs directly on the RediPlus feed now that is available now for $39.

In the eSignal 8.0 release, we intend to sell a "software only" version of eSignal that will run directly on the RediPlus data feed plus many others, including IB, Ameritrade, Patsystems, etc.
