ES... some prices on the DOM with NO bids... in a world-wide market!

How is it that ES volume is higher than ever for the past 2 weeks when big orders are no longer present on the DOM? are people just slamming market orders?

The market is moving through many more price levels.
No only the high price to the low price. But back and forth throughout the day.
