Does Schwab Limit Price Improvement for Very Heavy Trading?

Yes. As you can see the first BUY order (lowest in the list) got filled 0.03 lower. Overall, that one set of orders alone was over $160 in price improvements. That adds up fast.
Very interesting, thank you!

so, your order is to buy and sell 11k shares within single order, but it got filled with several transactions (fill)? Is there incentive you want it to split into multiple small orders, say 2000 shares/order? Will you see any difference?

no, that picture showed 1 order per row. I just sent them as separate orders - they were not all sent at the same time. Mainly did it to not move the market and see how the orders impacted things. But that is a separate issue. I see the recent lack of the price improvements on TDA as a big problem.

I would like to use MedVed to trade with Fidelity, how reliable do you feel MedVed working with Fidelity since you mentioned Fidelity does not have API for you to integrate with?

second question, does MedVed show the cost base of the shares bought in at least 4 decimal?

Thank you!

As of the last fixes this weekend, it is very reliable. I am using it myself, so you KNOW any issues will get fixed quick :)

Yes, MT shows the cost base to 4. I checked that is working with Fidelity. They actually reported it to 2 decimals so I had to jump through some hoops to get an accurate value

MT beta update just released. Get that. It has the fix for the intermittent login issue.

@j_medved ,

I tried the beta version today, it worked very well. I did not find the P/L information on the trade window though, and the buy and sell button are too small, fonts are very small too and are not adjustable on the trade window, not very friendly for a scalper, anyway I can change that?

Thank you very much!

Oh I know what you are referring to, the thing is most people who trade like the OP is not only doing market orders, sometimes they also put in limit orders or the vise versa. Although OP is a rare breed of quick keystroke trader. I can’t figure out how ppl do it, more power to them. Amen.

Several ways to do 500-600 orders a day, including but not limited to;
you would have want to/LOL/ or have to enjoy typing fast. Or pay some to do it.
Could set up lot of those premarket or post market/even for regular market hours execution.
