Does Anyone Have Experience with the E-Trade API

I am looking to move to E-trade from Interactive, but E-trade does not have an API interface with Excel. I would be looking to extract API data from Pthon or C+ or Java and interface it with Excel to create my own API trading alog

Specifically, i would be looking to automate trade where I could "peg stocks", for example, Peg AAPL versus SPY, using a starting price of 150 for AAPL pegged against 260 on the SPY. For each 10 cent move in AAPL, move 1 cent on SPY and when the ratio comes inline, to execute the order

This can get more involved, but that is the basics of what I am looking to do, Interactive already has this feature build into their trading but E-trade does not, so anyone having familiarity with this, please let me know

Why do you want to change from IB to E-Trade?
