Does a disciplined trader smoke weed (?)

@Branos, you bring up a valid point about the potential effects of substances like weed during trading. Maintaining a clear mind is crucial for effective trading, as it involves analyzing data and making decisions. You rightly mentioned that any substance can distort reality perception.

For those looking for alternatives to help with relaxation, it might be worth considering options like alternatives like Delta 9 THC gummies. These gummies offer a different experience and could provide relaxation without interfering with trading focus.
Ultimately, discipline in trading involves making well-informed decisions, managing risk, and staying focused on your strategy.

It's my 5'th working trip in netherlands.

Each time i arrive, agency provides a living with uknown people in unknown place. ( sometimes they might relocate you or change your job )

There are those who use ,,something'' and there are those who use nothing.
Those who use nothing are unicors.

All the time, there are folks around, that smokes it at least once a day, housemates or cooworkers, and it's my personal game, to try to guess, whos using it ( after i know a person for a week or more ) and whos not, most of the time - im accurate.

That's my observations based on few hundred smokers that i met in the last 2,5 yrs.

Most of them are , imo, low or avarage iq. ( a guess, tho few made tests, results were 90,96,102 )
Often emotional iq is low / avarage as well. ( 70% / 90% )

I don't use, i don't like it, i think , that by using weed or any substance that suppose to get you high, get's you slow and down instead, and that is nothing, when compered to the high, when you're constantly improving yourself & achieving your goals.

They can have it for 30 mins or a day, let me have it -

for life .

p.s.

im curious, how many of them lost savings, the next day, when TLRy spiked 40%, 7/11/2018.

p.s.s

the only ,,benefit'' i can name is, users of it are calm, often after ,,smoking ritual in groups'', their brains turns on extreme power saving mode and they go to sleep , wheres alcohol fans starts trouble.

According to a well-known and official Dutch research institute, approximately 13% of individuals with lower education have used marijuana at some point, while 33% of those with higher education have done so.

Well, good luck on getting stoned then.

Edit :

And for anyone wondering why did i replied the way i replied, i wrote that message based on personal experience/what i saw.
Here i am being presented with two dry facts without a source
[as of this moment when i am writing this] that has a questionable honesty of participants, and most importantly, -
without a punchline.

So, being left unaware of what to reply, all that i could is, - to wish farewell while getting stoned.

Relax (pun intended), it's not a personal attack :) I just replied because I'm myself dutch, and being highly educated my personal observation was the same

The source is trimbos.nl, a large dutch government institution.

It all depends. Weed makes some people really stupid in some things, but it also makes them very smart in other things. For creativity, it works quite well.

"I think it's safe to say that had there been no marijuana, there'd have been no Beatles."~John Lennon

That quote can probably be applied to every songwriter of every great song that resonates today across all the airways. Regardless of genre.

As for trading... I guess it just depends on the individual.

Idk if this is a joke or not. But someone uses substances like weed is a personal lifestyle choice and is not necessarily correlate with their trading discipline.

I believe it to bring some seriously new ways of thinking about everything when used proportionately and you may come to some realization, but ofc you shouldn't be executing your plans when you are high.
