Do you guys rely on the business channels such as CNBC and others for trade ideas ?

Haven't paid attention in years but back in the tech boom go go days, you could take a position in whatever any analysis would come on and pump and make a few thousand in seconds to minutes (those were the days). It didn't matter if it was JDSU or Garbage.com.

Cramer's first 10 minutes (Mad Money) where he discusses the macro underpinnings of whats going on is usually pretty good. I like his CEO interviews too.

Practically, all information is already reflected in the stockcharts. When insiders sell or buy their companies shares, it takes 3 days before it gets reported to the SEC. Chasing after it is old news! When they release news to the retail investors and traders, the big money investors and hedge funds have long taken up positions in the stockmarket. Big money investors and hedge funds are the market. Retail investors and traders do not have enough monies to move any stock for that matter!
Absolutely true! charts itself display every information what is happening what has happened and what is gonna happen.
