Thats rough... are you still trading through an offshore company ?? I gave up on those a while back, as compliance became nightmarish (but more from banks than IB)
At the end, did IB accept your deposits or return them ?
Fwiw IB finally made the funds available, with value date the day they were received, hopefully this funding account is now vetted by IB and there will be less problem if I make deposits to IB from there again.

At least you have achieved the desired outcome: have your money available in your IB account. What hoops did you have to go through to get IB to accept your deposit?

Over 2 working days after my initial reply, IB sent a shorter message asking for the reason to have a bank account in the UAE, I sent a UAE brokerage statement and IB accepted the deposit a couple of hours later . IB mentioned in the initial request owning a property or maintaining an office in the UAE. Just using the jurisdiction for offshore banking might not be acceptable, while investing locally apparently is.
