def - globex currency stops

How does IB handle stops for currencies traded on globex? Is your buy stop elected when the market is bid at or above your price, or does there need to be a trade first? Can you place stops in non-US hours?

i think they are handled the same for all globex markets. i can't confirm this right now as it is a two day holiday in my neck of the woods and i may not be in contact with someone for a day or two.

after hours, i'd also guess no stops are supported due to liquidity issues (assuming the same as es/nq). in this case if you do not mind sending the question to the help desk, you'll get a faster response.
