Daymargin and Overnight CME:EuroFX


If I have in my account $1400 and with my broker i have like daymargin $1300 (for 1 lot EuroFX), I can remain overnight? or they apply a margin call to me?

Therefore would close me the position?

I believe you would have a margin call and your position closed out. Interactive Brokers intraday initial is $1249usd, overnight initial is $2494.

I would be carefull carrying over a position overnight because each tick is $12.50, with an account size of $1400.
