Combining previous option entries into one option spread?

Hi

I'm new to using Interactive brokers for option trading, but I've been using Tastyworks for the last few years trading a decent volume of option spreads every day.

In IB TWS, I'm enquiring if there is any way to combine previous option entries into one option spread? I know other brokers can do it.

I was legging into an OTM index fly, and then I wanted to combine all the options to monitor my fly and set targets like usual, only I couldn't combine the legs and body into one spread. Is this doable for IB, or do I really need another front end for TWS ?

To the best of my knowledge I don’t think it is possible with IB, but please don’t take my word for it,

BTW, if you want to monitor flys, I think that you’d be better off to also monitor its subcomponents individually and not just the whole combo.

Just load all the dissections into your analyzing software and then you can see which verticals are worth keeping and need to be adjusted.

Nothing wrong with monitoring just the whole combo as you’re doing, but it leaves money on the table, plus the risk is easier to identify if you asses each vertical individually.
