Agree, they had enough of there own problems with ghost cities.The re-ruralification program has made an impact.The talent / knowledge pool has been spread across the land, bringing the outskirts of civilization a spark of productivity. As long as the Continental keeps the outdated consumer based economy, the rest of the world will profit from feeding the pig. A culture shift will occur as a reaction to desperate times.
